As one of the first restaurants on Chicago’s famed Restaurant Row in the West Loop, Stephanie Izard’s Girl & the Goat began in 2010 with a goal of serving bold, global flavors to our local community (and visitors!). Since then, our desire to treat guests like family has remained the same (as have our Green Beans) – but our seasonal flavors, cocktails, wine and locally-rooted beer are ever-changing.

The Underground Goat

The UG is not your typical private dining space. You and your guests will be led downstairs, through the restaurant and into the “staff only” halls of the Goat. Once you’ve arrived, you’ll find a cozy and candle lit room that echoes the casual, rustic atmosphere of the main dining room. It is also home to the amazing selection of our wines and has its own sound & lighting system that can be adjusted to fit each party’s needs.
