Dinner staff were very friendly, we enjoyed champagne, service was on the slow side but mainly because the bar was hopping with people. Hubby’s burger was “ok,” mom’s poet wrap was “bland and very dry,” she recommends a pesto or some other sauce be added or requested. I had the Orecchiate which was also ok. Poet’s breakfasts were awesome!!!! Coffee was wonderful. This place is always hopping and the ambience is great! Plus, it’s located in a wonderful historic hotel.

Had dinner here with some friends on 9/21 before going to hear Ketanji Brown Jackson speak at the Pratt Library. Friends ordered crab cakes and I ordered fish tacos and a Caesar salad. The salad was ok, but the fish tacos were pretty good and my friends really enjoyed the crab cakes. Our server was very nice and thoughtful and offered us a variety of dishes and spirits to try. It seemed as though she was the only working, and there were a few parties in the restaurants, but she maintained everything! I will return!

Food was ok nothing special. We visited while at the Walter’s Art museum, just a block away. Nice atmosphere and good service, as it was not crowded at all during lunchtime.

Went for brunch to have seafood omelette for me and crab cake for friend. Told after seated and ordered there was no seafood available at all. Proceeded to order eggs and sausage. Ten minutes later told no sausage.

We were immediately seated when we arrived and our server quickly suggested we start with a glass of wine. We ordered the crab dip and although there was a bit of a wait before it arrived at the table, it was well worth it! Loaded with crab meat and served with delicious crusty bread it quickly disappeared. Our entree was a vegetable pasta dish with a broth like sauce that begged us to drink it! Our suggestion to the chef is to present this dish with a soup spoon or a chunk of bread so as not to miss a drop!

The ambience was nice, but it took an hour just to get our appetizers. Food was very average, nothing special.
