Both perfect in texture and flavor. I shared Prime Rib with Wife and Daughter got Spaghetti Bolognese .. The pasta was Al Dente and meat sauce rich and amazing. Prime Rib was disappointing.. They Split cut for wife and myself ..There was over 50% fat in cuts... was difficult to navigate with knife anywhere and slice Ribeye.. We might have had that area that the fat strap ran and not mad as it happens with Beef. The only other anomaly was The Italian greeter/ manager went around and checked on tables around us.. Never came by and acknowledged our table.. it was 5:30 and not super busy..Nor did server ask us after entrees served come Back... I miss those days when spending $300 plus for two adults and one child.. Would create a value for establishment... I believe this was 7 out of 10... but small tweaks would make it 9 out of 10.More infoGene and GeorgettiPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• River North (Chicago)•4.7
- AAlexandraChicago / Illinois •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoWent for Valentine’s day & had a wonderful expierence. Sat around 3:30 pm for dinner so it wasn’t too busy. My boyfriend and I got served by the bartender who was a lovely lady. Asked if we wanted to try the wine before pouring the glass. Thankfully so because my boyfriend ended up wanting to try the Italian Punch drink instead with me! Which was 10/10. As for food we ordered the Fettucini Al Burro which came served in the cheese wheel. Kind of disappointed our server didn’t come out to serve it as we liked her personality. The man who did it wasn’t very talkative…..if it all. Which is okay I just thought seeing things online it would’ve been different. As for the food quality the pasta was a good fresh dough. Al dente to perfection. The sauce was salty and cheesy. Very yummy. I didn’t taste much of truffle butter but it was still good. The pasta was however a bit cold which was disappointing. The overall bill was pretty cheap for 2 cocktails & a pasta dish that’s served out of a parmesan wheel!More infoLa Pizza & La Pasta - Eataly ChicagoPrice: Moderate• Italian• River North (Chicago)•4.3

I’m glad we finally went. This place smells amazing if you’re close to the kitchen. Decor is clean and neat too without feeling sterile. This is what I expect out of a place in the Sears Tower. Our server, Paulino, was great. He seemed to always check in at just the right time for drink refills or to clear plates. Great food suggestions too. The food. We both got steak frites. She had lobster bisque. I got a bonus tenderloin skewer. We got the maple flapjack cake and the s’mores cake bar. The steaks were so good you’d think the bill was going to be much higher. Fries were good. The desserts were massive, overkill for two people, and we were glad we ordered them. Our waiter gave us a heads up that the flapjack cake is already a sharing size. The s’mores cake bar was even bigger than I expected. We brought 2/3ish of each home. They tasted great. We could see taking guests there for drinks and desserts. I’d say either would be more than enough for four adults with sweet tooths. Flavors were great. I’m looking forward to eating more of the desserts over the weekend. We will be back to try more of the menu.More infoKindling | Downtown Cookout & CocktailsPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• River North (Chicago)•4.5
- KkurtChicago / Illinois •2 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 4, 2025The holiday decor is amazing. Service was great. Service and someone else who checked in on us were friendly and attentive. We went after the holiday for brunch so it was a little quiet for the neighborhood. I;m sure it's more lively at other times. A few normal breakfast type items and a few kinda sweet breakfast items. I had a nice mocktail.More infoBamboo ClubPrice: Moderate• Pizza Bar• Wrigleyville•4.3
