Best Puerto Rican Restaurants in Guaynabo

Our check-in process was seamless and efficient, and we were even accommodated earlier than the expected arrival time. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a saxophonist, creating a beautiful ambiance with live music. The waitress was incredibly friendly and exceeded our expectations in service. There was a mix-up with the parking, as our server initially requested our parking tickets for a free hour, only to discover it was valet parking, where this policy doesn’t apply. This wasn’t the server’s fault and didn’t affect our experience, but if you’re looking for cheaper parking, it’s best to opt for regular parking rather than valet. As for the food: the chicken crust was a bit too salty for my taste, but the manposteao rice was absolutely delicious. The steak lacked flavor and was difficult to cut and eat. On the other hand, the tostones (fried plantains) were crispy and delightful. The atmosphere was great until the live performance started; at that point, the music became quite loud, making conversation difficult. While I understand live performances are part of the experience, the volume was overwhelming for a restaurant setting, and we had to raise our voices to be heard. The bill was accurate, and overall, the experience was positive. I would definitely recommend this place, and we plan to return to try different dishes. Areas for improvement: Noise control could enhance the overall dining experience, and refining the consistency and flavor of the dishes would elevate the quality.

Words cannot adequately describe just how wonderful our experience was. Everything was top notch from start to finish. They even thoughtfully warmed the milk for my coffee without me asking. This is a must visit when in Puerto Rico.

We very much enjoyed our dinner at Areyto. The food options are very creative and it's not the usual BS fusion you find at other spots. The Boricua Lo Mein was flavorful and the croquettes were certainly interesting.

The team was perfect. The host was diligent in having the table ready upon arrival. The waiter was respectful. Upon request he provided suggestions for the night. He was continuously checking on our needs. The runner and the assistant manager also visited the table. The food was very well presented and cooked as requested. The waiter's dessert recommendation was excellent. Great experience.

Wow the rooftop setting is breathtaking, what a unique experience watching the full moon rise as we enjoyed our meal. Juan our waiter was attentive and friendly so we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Both the seafood fettuccine and salmon entrees were delicious. And again the rooftop is not to be missed for incredible views of Puerto Rico and the night sky!
