It may be common but paying extra for a salad as a second side irritates us. Though the side salad IS large and very good! So it is worth $6, just wish even a smaller version came with the meal instead. Our server was so friendly and gave helpful menu suggestions. The live band was great. It is an intimate restaurant so it can be difficult to hold a conversation when the band is playing.
