Best Mediterranean Restaurants in Columbia Heights / Brightwood

Tonight was wet and windy in DC. We left our last museum at 5:30pm. Our dinner reservation was not until 7pm. We walked to the restaurant thinking at a min we could dry out and have a pre dinner drink at the bar. When we arrived we explained that we were an hour early for our reservation but without a fuss we were seated immediately. The service was faultless. Our waiter was a bartender doing double duty. He was knowledgeable about the drinks (duhh) and the food and able to answer all of our questions - and my husband asks lots of questions. He oversaw service and was attentive without being bothersome. Our food was delicious. We ordered a variety of foods and were happy with everything we ate. Highly recommended this spot for a great meal with a loved one, good friend or family.

We savored a delightful brunch that was nothing short of spectacular. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, bursting with flavor and creativity. Paired with expertly crafted adult cocktails, the experience elevated our date to new heights. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it the perfect setting to enjoy such incredible food and refreshing drinks. It truly was a memorable date brunch filled with exquisite tastes and wonderful moments.

I can’t get over how incredible our server was. Elvis immediately acknowledged that we were vegetarians and had accommodations made for even the fixed Valentine’s Day menu. We truly appreciate it. And not to forget, but the food was incredible. I would go back and eat an entire bowl of the beet salata

Wonderful Valentine’s Day experience with exceptional food and service. The restaurant is cozy, charming and romantic, but had to ding it one star on ambience because there were too many tables for the space making it a bit cramped. Wine choices were somewhat limited, but sommelier guided us to a fantastic wine. Overall an excellent experience and look forward yo returning!

Restaurant entrance is located on 4th St.., NW, around the corner from the posted address of 425 Eye St., NW. Confusing. Instead of tacking on 20% service charge, just raise menu price.
