Best Romantic Restaurants in Madison

Every bite was successfully more impressive than the last. We ordered 6 plates for two of us, and it was the perfect experience! The service was shared between a friendly team, and it was delightful! Such care for the ingredients and unmatched flavor!

We had a business dinner and everything was delicious. We had a lovely bottle of bubbles, the lemon ricotta and the charcuterie. I think most of us had the lamb, steak or the sea bass. Not a bite left for any boxes. My crew never sleeps on dessert, so we had tiramisu and the apple pie cheesecake. Which I’ll likely dream about both for the foreseeable future. As a first time visitor to Nashville, I think I hit the jackpot in dining at The Optimist! The menu, while somewhat limited, is varied and interesting and the food-from the starters to desserts-is phenomenal! I can enthusiastically recommend the roasted oysters, the Arctic char, and the chocolate pudding! Enjoy!

We had a great experience! The garlic potatoes and vodka pasta were amazing! Our server was very friendly and we loved the overall vibes. I had a frozen espresso martini and it was great, very strong.

The place is a great atmosphere and it's nice the tables are far enough away from ea h other you don't feel crowded. It did take a VERY long time to get refills on drinks. That was a bit frustrating. And I got the chicken Alfredo that had hardly any chicken on it. There were two pieces about 2" x 2" and then maybe 4 more smaller pieces. For 22$ you'd expect a lot more chicken.
