- AA SvipGreater Boston •55 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoWe enjoy eating here - most dishes are fresh, creative and delicious. Service is usually solid but our wait staff yesterday was clearly having an 'off' day and was rather sullen. We would have indicated that fact in the size of our tip but the restaurant gives you no choice ion that matter and charges 20% minimum tip no matter what.More infoBlack LambPrice: Moderate• American• South End•4.7
- PPatrickvipGreater Boston •8 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThis is my 4th time to Mare and it never disappoints. I have been there for my anniversary, night out with my wife, and business and it is a perfect location for any occasion. There are so many restaurants in the NEnd and it can be hard to standout but Mare is unique from all the other N.End Italian restaurants. Seafood centric but not just, it has something for everyone. It isn't your checkered cloth, red sauce, restaurant so if that's what you want you will find a couple dozen other spots that would fit the bill down the street. But if you are looking for some of the best seafood fused with Italian cuisine, great drinks, a broad wine list across multiple price points, cool vibes, and intimate dining experience with terrific staff then this is your place. The ribeye was the weakest of the entrees. Pricey but one of the better dining options in Cambridge.More infoPuritan & CompanyPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Cambridge•4.7
