The snowy Chicago weather meant it wasn’t overly crowded, making for a cozy and intimate experience. The food was really quite good, even for a price fix menu. Tables were spaced well apart, lending a very quiet and more romantic evening. We would have preferred to sit in the main eating rooms. We were in a separate space that appeared to be a temporary space for Valentine’s Day. It did not feel as comfortable and it was very cold when guests would enter/exit the restaurant. My table had the smoked old fashioned and non-alcoholic margarita and enjoyed both. Then, Sunday Salad and Simple Salad - both were great and the portions are huge. The salads are definitely share'able and I appreciate our server for telling us that before we over-ordered. Then, entrees were the Pasta a la Posto - one made without bacon for the vegetarian at my table. You cannot beat homemade pasta.
