We mentioned that we'd split portions of our dinner, expecting to scoop from one plate to another. Everything we shared/split, was plated separately. Steak melted in our mouths. Everything was excellent! Pricey, but worth it for a special occasion.

    We had only been in Santa Fe for a few months, and we had not had a chance to try the Osteria d'Assisi. The chance arose when friends from the Midwest visited Santa Fe recently, and their hotel was only a couple of blocks from the restaurant. The service was impeccable from beginning to end. The server was enthusiastic and quite authentically Italian. The atmosphere was perfect. The ambient music was soft, and enabled us to have a great conversation. To top it off, the prices were very affordable. Can't wait to get back to Osteria!
