We came here during thanksgiving break and the food and service was outstanding! Our server was so nice and welcoming and the food was amazing. The burrata salad was outstanding and so delicious! For my entree i got the tenderloin which was cooked perfectly along with well paired mushrooms! To top off the wonderful food among others i shared the chocolate soufflé which was baked to perfection and the Alaskan Bombe which was truly so fluffy and had the perfect balance of sweet and savory. Overall i highly recommend coming to Manta at Mauna Kea on your next trip to the big island if it’s within distance to where your staying!

Excuisite Thanksgiving Day Special Tasting Menu. Added Lobster and Crispy Garlic Fried Rice. The Sousvide Turkey with Gravy and Dressing was wounderful. The Sushi Starter, Scallops, and the enitre, plating, service, and presentation was everything you would want or ask for at a seaside table in Kona on the most beautiful pristine setting you can imagine... But I have pics so you can actually see it!

We love Roy’s and go on every visit to the Big Island. We have food allergies and have found that Roy’s will make accommodations that we need. Their new menu has gluten free items clearly marked. Our server was knowledgeable and took great care of us. He went back to the kitchen and checked on any questions we had. I had the snapper and shrimp with rice instead of polenta. It was excellent. My husband always has the butterfish. Several in our party had the chocolate soufflé for dessert, but I had guava sorbet since I’m also dairy free. We had a great meal, with great service.
