    An old school Nashville vibe with really good food and laid back, but, attentive service. One of the best Italian menus in town. Definitely a place worth visiting. In Nashville's changing and growing restaurant landscape, this is a place you will put on your top 5-10 list for regular nights out.

    We choose Gathre for the ambiance and good food, and it didn’t disappoint - mostly. The charcuterie tray felt lacking with only four tiny (not much bigger than a crouton) pieces of bread, a few slices of cured meats, and a few pieces of cheese. It also included artichoke hearts which I have never had on a charcuterie tray and while I don’t mind them, wouldn’t want them included on one in the future. We both loved our entrees (fettuccine and the heritage chicken) and our desserts (pots de crem and the lemon tiramisu). It’s a little pretentious to only have bottled water available, but we would still come again.

    We love Valentino's and this is the second year in a row that we celebrated my mother's birthday there. They never disappoint. Food is amazing and Mike, our waiter, was absolutely wonderful. If you are looking for REAL ITALIAN food in Nashville, this is your spot. Thanks for making this event so great!
