Just opened 14 Feb 2022!Walking into Emilia’s Wood Wharf will be like entering a bustling trattoria in Italy’s Emilia Romagna region with an ambience created by natural terracotta-plastered walls bathed in natural light, rustic Iroko furniture, creamy crema marfil marble counters and hand-painted Italian tiles. Chefs making fresh pasta greet diners at the window in a special dedicated custom-made area visible from all sides. The thoughtfully designed interior cleverly combines a vibrant bar area with a custom table bocce for some competitive socialising in half the restaurant, with a cosy rustic restaurant section for more intimate moments and lingering conversations.     Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch to celebrate cousin Clares 70th birthday. My start of portobello mushrooms was fabulous. We had to have a dessert and they didn't disappoint. The new decor is classy and the Christmas's decor beautiful. Cosy atmosphere. Would love to know the brand of non alcoholic white sauvignon wine. It was so refreshing. Wish all a successful Christmas season. Must bring daughter next year.

    The food, vibe, and service were all great. We came for the Indian infused roast dinner - pork belly & cauliflower cheese were standouts. The smaller roast potatoes were a great balance of crispy and fluffy. There were a couple of minor grips: peas were cold, and the trimmings on the menu didn't match those served - parsnips and chard were seemingly replaced with carrots and peas. Both were tasty, but unfortunately the side of carrots was excessive as a result. It's pretty annoying to do, but if the parsnips aren't delivered in time it's worth either reprinting the menus or having staff mention the deviations to expect from the menu. Either way, I'll be coming back to eat the entirety of the regular menu!
