- VVictoriaNewcastle and Northumberland •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe took 4 guests to the Dun Cow for dinner. The pub was buzzing when we arrived but nevertheless we had a very warm welcome and prompt service at the bar. Our dinner was delicious and special mention of the Moules Marinieres sauce which was really good. Great to see the pub doing so well under new management.More infoThe Dun CowPrice: Expensive• Pub• Holt / Edgefield•4.5
- LLindaNorfolk/Suffolk •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoThis restaurant was recommended so we travelled the 40 minutes to get to it. The staff on arrival were really smiley and welcoming. The service was prompt and again all the staff were smiley. They were able to give good recommendations as to the different sauces with the lobster. The food was delicious including the salad that came with it. We sat in the conservatory which was comfortable and warm. Price wise we were surprised that it wasn’t as expensive as I would have imagined especially as we both had lobster. Altogether a great experience. - JJimLondon •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoHad the All in (like I do every time). The chops were succulent and cooked to perfection. The bread at the bottom was, as always, freaking delicious! Sides of Kale and Parmesan (with enough parmesan to negate the health proprieties of the kale), Winter slaw (lovely acidity to cut through the richness of the meat) and coal roasted beets (great combination of smoky beets, smooth goats curd and strong grated horseradish). All of them compliment the meat. What did steal the show for me however, and hear me out, was the barbecue cauliflower chop. All garlicky and charred and delicious. Service was impeccable. The right amount of attentiveness. Banter was good. Overall, a charming lunch in a bloody good restaurant.More infoBlacklock ShoreditchPrice: Moderate• Steak• Shoreditch•4.8
