Opting for the 5-course tasting menu during our visit on Wednesday evening, we were treated to a journey of flavours that were as refined as they were inventive. From the very first bite, it was clear that each plate had been crafted with meticulous attention to detail. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, their knowledge of the dishes and wine pairings enhancing the entire experience. The highlight of the evening, however, was our post-dinner conversation with Chef Aktar Islam. We had the tasting menu with a few swaps as we don’t eat red meat. We ate lots of new and exciting foods which were beautifully presented and delicious. The staff were all friendly and very accommodating. Each dish came with a detailed explanation and we didn’t have to wait long for each course to arrive. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. I just wish I’d realised it was a dog friendly restaurant as we could have shared this wonderful experience with our pet.
