Best Authentic Restaurants in Bawtry

We visited on a Sunday at 14:00...we sat downstairs which was great, the place was fairly busy or as you would expect for a Sunday. The Mrs had visited this place previous on her works Christmas party, she whatsapp me that evening not to see if the kids had gone to bed, but to tell me how much the food had been enjoyed plus insisted that we visit as a couple. The service was friendly, the food was well presented and delicious....the Mrs was right....again! This place is now at the top of our list for Italian restaurants we visit in Doncaster.....would highly recommend.

Food was very good and the service was good. We had a 9 month old with us and we were given a baby seat that fit really well on the seat for her to sit on. Food came fast after ordering and was the perfect temperature to be eaten. Atmosphere was good as well.

Really good service, they made it special for my sons birthday

Once again we had a lovely experience for my Mum’s birthday. The place is stunning and is one of the nicest afternoon tea locations around the area. We have been several times now and the decor and the atmosphere is always lovely and it feels very luxurious as a dining experience. The food is always well presented and the sweet treats are very delicious. My only gripe (and it’s the only reason for the 4 stars on food) is that the choice of sandwiches is a little lack-lustre. There are 2 ham, 2 tuna, then 2 egg and 2 cheese and onion. Neither mum or I liked the egg or cheese and onion, leaving only 4 finger sandwiches between us. It would be nice to have more of a meat selection or just not so many “wet” sandwiches (both the egg and cheese and onion were mixed with mayo or some kind of creamy accompaniment which made the sandwiches very similar and a little sickly). The clotted cream also tasted more like butter than cream too this time. We were able to get as much tea as we wanted and the amount of food for the desserts was excellent - we both took home a box each as we couldn’t eat it all. Can’t wait for next time!

Fantastic Food for all palettes. Service was amazing, the staff could not have been better. Great value! If you have never been go! If you have been go again! You won't be disappointed.
