The Hop Vine formerly the ‘Royal Hotel’ was built in 1874 and was the main stopping off point for goods being transported to and from the old Turnpike road the A59. The Royal as it was known has served the community and travellers alike. The restaurant was really busy which is a testament to how much people enjoy coming here to eat. The service is always spot on, which was reflected in the tip left. They're always really polite, prompt, and friendly, so I hope the waitresses keep their own tips! Food is always spot on, never had a bad meal here so its always a top contender for restaurant if we fancy going out for food. Will definitely be back!
