Lovely food. Very nice surroundings and ambience. Would definitely go back. The only downside was the service, which was friendly enough but not very attentive. We also had to wait to pay and there was only one person at the desk who was welcoming and seating new arrivals rather than taking our money. There was someone else waiting to pay behind us - maybe there ought to be someone who could see the queue and help out.

We had a lovely meal here tonight. Myself and husband had the two course Christmas dinner and it was delicious with plenty of fresh vegetables and lovely Turkey. My daughter had the Korean chicken burger and she said it was tasty. The waitress was helpful and looked after us well. The place was very festive with lots of Christmas decorations.

Love this place - from the cocktails to start with, to the petits fours with the coffee at the end. It’s all brilliant. AS well as the menu there is homemade bread and butter, canapés, soup. Great as well that we don’t need to drive. There’s a bus from Sheffield (x17) which takes you straight there so you can taste the cocktails and drink from the lovely wine list. Non-alcoholic cocktails brilliant too. There are separate vegetarian and vegan menus not just ‘vegetarian option’ added at the last minute. All in all a great meal out with high quality food at a reasonable price. Not cheap - but the quality is worth the spend.

An absolutely wonderful Jubilee picnic, the coronation chicken and rice was gorgeous. Such a wonderful array of rolls, quiche, scotch egg, crisps to accompany, you could tell they were specially selected for quality, and a fresh cream scone and jam, summer berries and brownie to finish. All beautifully packaged in a lovely insulated bag. Perfect.
