Best Lunch Restaurants in Goudhurst

Our afternoon tea experience at The Ivy at Tunbridge Wells was exemplary. We went for our anniversary and the food, service and ambiance were amazing. We were even given a complementary ‘Happy Anniversary’ desert, which was very unexpected and a lovely gesture. Thank you to everyone who made our experience so memorable.

I don’t think there is a better restaurant around here. The food is absolutely outstanding, and they are very accommodating if you need some variation! Services is outstanding again, every single little touch is just amazing! Wine pairings so well done. I can’t recommend this enough. Thanks for another great night! Steph xxx

Another great meal at this local gem. This time it was a Valentines tasting menu offering and all the courses delighted. Of special note were the scallops with smoked eel and then the halibut... beautifully cooked. Not forgetting the white chocolate petit fours... exquisite! A word about the service - fantastic. Absolutely could not have been more perfect. The service was impeccable and we were made to feel most welcome. Food was wonderful - really good quality and quantity. We were hugely surprised by an unexpected Happy Birthday plate of strawberries, cream and a cupcake for one of our party whose birthday it was on that day. Really made his day and ours...as we had not told the not the birthday when booking. Staff could not have done more to make the meal very special.
