Best Romantic Restaurants in Lancing

Food and service top notch, but I think they forgot it grit to turn the heating on!

It was a wonderful evening and the food and service fantastic . The only disappointment came from my 18 yo daughter , her friend and my son who is older were ID checked and because they didn’t have their passports or any ID with them , they were refused wine with their meal and any drinks which slightly changed the celebratory occasion. We don’t normally drink but on a special night out we would not have expected to have this to have been refused. I belive that they should tell diners when booking g that without ID they will be refused alcohol . Never has this ever happened before in my life time of dining out with my family. I am 56 and my husband 66 so it was a shock.

Lovely dinner at Terra for our Anniversary, great menu where we could have picked almost anything on it. We had cheese soufflé and mussels to start while expecting the soufflé to be the best choice turns out the sauce for the mussels was probably the best either of us have ever had. Lamb and pork for mains were excellent and really interesting take on them. unfortunately no space for deserts despite how good they sounded. Next time we’ll forego the very nice bread and olives in an attempt to save room. We liked it so much we’ve already booked their Burns night !

Ami is a lovely place to spend with friends in a great atmosphere and fantastic food. The service was friendly and fast. There is a good range of alcohol and food. We can highly recommend a visit to this little Gem of a restaurant

Rincon de Pepe is by far our favourite tapas place! We’ve visited a few times with friends and just ourselves and each time the food has been incredible, the service is great, always on hand ready and waiting to cater for your needs, and the overall atmosphere is calm so you’re able to hear yourself think and converse with who you’re with.
