- MMichaelSacramento / Sacramento Valley •16 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoFour of us came for dinner on a rainy Wednesday evening. This was only a day or two after the restaurant first opened, and at first we were the only customers. We were outnumbered by staff about 4:1, so yes service was very good. Our server ( and her trainee) were friendly without being obtrusive and answered our questions The food was very good. As the only ones - and perhaps the first ones- there, we were given a number of free things to try, including a clam chowder, a Mac and Cheese croquet, and a tiramisu. We enjoyed tasting each of these. Two of us had branzino as an entree, and the restaurant substituted spinach in for potato without a murmur ( we’re both avoiding carbs); thus was a hit as was the Caesar salad. You may have to ask for anchovies if you want them. The other two liked the octopus, and the chicken as well. The wet chocolate cake - kind of like an elevated ice cream sandwich- was a dessert hit. And, the coffee was quite good, something that isn’t always the case. The restaurant itself is beautiful and very comfortable. There’s an outdoor patio which might be nice if it isn’t raining. The price for 4 including some wine & dessert ( shared) was $200. The price point is very reasonable for the ambiance and food quality. We would all return.More infoMia Restaurant & BarPrice: Expensive• American• Roseville•5
- LLarryvipSan Francisco Bay Area •41 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoOur family birthday celebration was beautifully handled by Il Fornaio. Devon, our waiter, was efficient, thoughtful, and friendly: a real professional! Our cocktails were perfectly prepared, wine service was handled well and service of appetizers and entrees was great. All of the food was tasty. An excellent restaurant.More infoIl Fornaio - RosevillePrice: Moderate• Italian• Roseville•4.6
- NNancyvipSan Francisco Bay Area •50 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoVacanza is an amazing restaurant. First, you feel like family. They are so welcoming. The service is wonderful. The food is so delicious and unusual. Unusual in a good way because everything is house made from the huge, delicious croutons to the incredible pastas. Last night I had the Pappardelle Ripienne. A tasty sauce with eggplant, garlic confit, and hazelnut butter and pesto. It was wrapped in the pappardelle. So yummy. It was my birthday and they served me a complimentary tiramisu that was also house made and so tasty. This restaurant is definitely a neighborhood gem.More infoVacanza RomanaPrice: Moderate• Italian• El Dorado Hills•4.5
- RRSacramento / Sacramento Valley •31 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 11, 2024Arrived early, seated immediately. Chef & server were delightful & went beyond the call to be attentive & confirm quality of dishes. Fantastic experience. Only negative was the item I ordered was very salty. I should have expected that as sauce was full of capers. Not a problem caused by chef, just the nature of capers.More infoBuca di Beppo - RosevillePrice: Moderate• Italian• Roseville•4.1
