- KKayleeTampa / Central Florida West •6 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe loved predalina. We sat outside and the temperature was perfect and not noisy ! We loved our server Frankie! We started with zucchini chips and saganaki both were amazing. For our mains I got salmon and my husband got lamb both of which were so good. For sides risotto and carrots and then for dessert we tried the baklava and cheese cake. Everything we ate was seriously so good we couldn’t stop talking about it. Highly recommend this little spot if you love Mediterranean food and a cool atmosphere. Thanks Frankie!!More infoPredalinaPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Tampa•4.6

Despite it being Valentine’s Day the food and drinks came out in good time and everything we ordered was exactly as it should have been. The Barbacoa shrimp was delicious and the oysters are some of the freshest and best tasting we’ve had in Florida. Two of us ordered filet mignon medallions as a special and they were cooked perfectly. For dessert we had the bourbon butter cake with vanilla ice cream and it was the perfect end to a delicious meal. Overall it was an enjoyable experience and we will definitely go back again!More infoUlelePrice: Expensive• American• Tampa•4.8
- KKathiTampa / Central Florida West •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe enjoyed a lovely dinner at Dry Dock for Valentine’s Day. The restaurant was busy but the team had everything under control. We were greeted immediately and taken care of promptly at the bar for cocktails as we waited a very short time for our table. Our server was informative and efficient and went above and beyond to make us feel at home and understand the menu. Our food was amazing The snapper served right off the grill and the side veggies perfectly cooked. The jambalaya was piping hot and delicious. No room for dessert this time but the key lime pie was so tempting! 5 ⭐️More infoDry Dock Waterfront GrillPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Longboat Key•4.8

It was our anniversary and we were greeted with a glass of complimentary champagne when we entered. We sat in the outside section that is covered and has screens, ceiling fans and heaters for all types of weather. I’m not sure how warm it would be on a warm summer evening, but it was perfect last night. The noise level where we were seated was fine, but as we left we noticed the noise inside was quite loud. There were alot of people at the bar which probably contributed to that. As a senior, I’m not sure sitting inside would be pleasant for those that may have difficulty hearing. Our view was good but they are beginning to construct a large condo building right next door to the restaurant. So I have concerns about the view while they continue to build and am unsure what it will look like when the construction is complete. And while everything was almost perfect, the price is also out of this world. For 2 people to have a couple of drinks, one appetizer, 2 mains with sides and 2 desserts, and parking, the price was almost $500 before tip. All that said, it was a wonderful anniversary dinner. Thank you Ocean Prime!More infoOcean Prime - SarasotaPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Sarasota•4.7

We ventured out to Placida to dine at Apulia, we have had several positive recommendations regarding Apulia, we were not disappointed! We had an amazing dinning experience. Every aspect was spot on, very welcoming staff, comfortable seating and pleasant decor, more importantly the cuisine. We started our visit with a couple of Negroni cocktails, well balanced and enjoyable. We began our dinning experience with the perfectly crispy fried Calamari, very tender Calamari robed in a very delicate yet crispy coating, not a heavy batter or breading, perfectly flash fried. Our next course was a Romana Salad, very similar to a Caesar, creamy, very fresh without the vinegar taste many other restaurants use. This Salad was so enjoyable I could have made it my meal. We next ordered the Cappellacci, a Lobster Ravioli in a Vodka cream sauce that tasted akin to a Lobster bisque, nice pieces of Lobster as well, we both had our forks in this dish, we thoroughly enjoyed it. We also had the Tonnarelli which is squid ink pasta in a wildly flavorful Puttenesca sauce, a variety of olives, plump shrimp cooked to a turn. This dish was very authentic and would definitely order again. The deserts were too enticing to pass up, we shared the Semifreddo Blanco, perfect ending to our meal, not overly sweet, very palate pleasing. My wife had a Espresso Martini, again a perfect pour. Excellent wine list, we had a Cabernet Sauvigon 4 Bears from Paso Robles. Service by Sarah and Nicole was impeccable, friendly and informative. It was a pleasure to have a nice conversation with Michael the manager as well. Really have to make sure the Chef and staff get their accolades, they presented us with a beautiful, delicious dinning experience. This was our first visit and we are sure to make Apulia a regular choice! Apulia is located in Placida.More infoApulia Osteria ItalianaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Rotonda•4.8
