Best Hot Spot Restaurants in Rotonda

Look forward to dining at Cassariano’s each year we return to Venice. Our initial visit this year was consistent with previous years. Great food,super service and pleasant atmosphere with an appropriate level on ambient noise. They have been consistent for many years .

We celebrated a 25th anniversary which is on Valentines Day - we were greeted as VIP with a beautiful congratulatory card (nice touch!) and received a complimentary gorgeous dessert! It was a perfect evening! Our server Kim was so fun and highly professional. The meals were expertly prepared and generous. Can’t wait to go back!

We had a wonderful Valentine’s Day lunch at Columbia. We were a little early for our reservation and asked to be seated inside. Our waiter, Tyre, was wonderful and very accommodating. He prepared our salad table side which was so special. The mojitos were perfect as were the entrees, paella and pollo manchego. We will return next time we are in Sarasota.

Eating at Michael’s is a special treat when visiting Sarasota. This time we chose three dishes: the charcuterie board, sea bass, and chopped salad. The charcuterie board was outstanding, and the sea bass with risotto was excellent. To my taste, the chopped salad was not as good. It was overdressed with a somewhat sweet dressing, reminiscent of Russian dressing.

We eat here frequently. It never disappoints. The servers are very professional and go out of their way to please the customers. If you have a special request, they make sure the kitchen gets the message.For example, I like my fried calamari not too crunchy- 25 seconds in the fryer! (Pure perfection!). The management has a recipe for success and the staff goes out of its way to comply.
