The last of its kind near 42nd Street, Chez Josephine is a neighborhood gem founded in 1986 by Jean-Claude Baker as a tribute to legendary Josephine Baker.     If I could give my experience today, 10 stars, I would! Nicole was an amazing server. She was attentive, professional, and very kind. She made my delicious meal a wonderful experience. Additionally, management was personable and professional , and making sure everything ran very smoothly. This was one of my favorite dining experiences at Tavern on the Green. Thank you again Nicole for providing such an impeccable service!

    Kazon was our server and he made our experience perfect. His timing on taking care of myself and my guests, along with his suggestions were brilliant. A must visit anytime of the year, but especially special during the holidays. We did dress for the occasion, and I highly recommend doing so. You experience a level of fine dining while being accompanied by fellow guests with the same taste, it’s a lovely way to slow time down in the busy hustle of Manatan❤️

    Chez Josephine’s never disappoints! Love the atmosphere, and our dinner was excellent. The duck was perfectly medium rare, tender and full of flavor. Service was exceptional, as our server was conscious of our theatre time.
