The food was amazing (we got specials) and the service/ambiance were also great. We will definitely be back!More infoRobert's Scratch KitchenPrice: Moderate• Continental• Totowa•4.7
- MMatthewNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoMe and my fiancé had a lovely Valentines dinner. I definitely recommend the Pekín duck, although it seems that just about anything made there is fantastic. The Valentines menu was a fixed price, so it was a little bit different in value than it normally would be, but the service was fantastic and friendly. If you go to F1RST, they will do their best to give you a 5 star experience all the way through, and I feel that they succeed. The atmosphere is a bit more modern, and it feels almost like eating in a house. From what I can tell, everything was quite pristine, as it is a newer restaurant. The only qualm I might have is that gratuity was included, which I was not alerted to beforehand (as least that I know of). It is possible that this was just for Valentine’s Day because of the fixed price, but I can’t be sure. It was what I would have tipped anyways (standard 20%) so it didn’t upset me too much. I just would have liked the notification beforehand is all. Even the starter bread was delicious, as when I received it and began to dip it into the Pesto they provided (which is a bit of a unique and welcome turn by the way), I just knew I needed seconds! If you’re looking for a more upscale restaurant to spend an evening, but you’re worried about not getting enough bang for your buck, come here and you won’t regret it! And if anyone from the restaurant happens to see this comment, thank you again for a lovely evening! I’ll be sure to come back again :)More infoF1RSTPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Hawthorne•4.8
- LLongNew York City •15 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoIt’s our first time at this place, even though we’ve been seeing it for over two decades. In short, we were quite pleasantly surprised by the taste of the food, as it was light but very flavorful - not as salty as we thought we’d get from almost any Italian restaurant we’ve been to, some of which are very good in their own right. However, this lightness in taste stood out, be it the prosciutto in the salad or the clams in pasta. We’ll come back for sure.More infoFiorinoPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Summit•4.8
- DDonnaVIPNew York City •15 reviews5.0Dined on Feb 8, 2025This is one of our favorite restaurants! We have been going to LuNello for 20 years and it gets better and better. Chef Louis and his team continue to reinvent themselves. The food is sophisticated yet extremely approachable and downright unctuous. The service staff is professional, welcoming and extremely knowledgeable. They really care about the guest having a great experience. ❤️More infoLuNello RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Italian• Cedar Grove•4.9
- MMVIPNew York City •28 reviews5.0Dined on Feb 6, 2025We had a delicious, cozy birthday lunch here! It was everything we were looking for--delicious food in a cozy environment to catch up. *BYOB* but we just opted for some sparkling water to start. All their options sounded delicious. We finally decided on Zucchine Flan for starters (fresh and tasty) and dined on Cavatelli and Gnocchi for our mains. Must try their desserts too! Espresso Affogato and Crostata. YUMMM. Neighborhood gem. Highly recommend! Staff was very courteous, knowledgeable, and polite. Owner stopped by to say hello as well :) (they offer a Business Lunch menu--will need to go back to try. A more affordable option to try other menu options!)More infoSola OsteriaPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Ridgewood, New Jersey•4.8
