Best Authentic Restaurants in Far West Side

Good ambience, great location, great service, drinks were good, food was ok but it was too expensive.

Awesome food and the staff is fantastic. We keep coming back for a reason.

We first ate at La Margarita in the 70’s and have eaten there many times when we visit San Antonio. We sat outside and our waiters were efficient and personable. The food was delicious. We started with queso flameado con chorizo as an appetizer. It’s sooo good! I had the sour cream enchiladas which did not disappoint. My husband ate the cheese chili rellenos and loved them. The whole experience was delightful.

Had my date night at Bob’s, always a great experience, the food, the wine and got to be served by Ernesto, such a badass gentleman, took care us from beginning to end. Hands down, my favorite steakhouse joint in San Antonio. Kudos to Ernesto and Mr. Clemens. ;) We’ll definitely come back! -David.

Amazing cocktails! In a city with many steak houses available, this is certainly in the top 5. Expansive menu. Not Tex-Mex. Will definitely be back.
