Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in Chisago City

We did the Valentines Day Northern Starlight Express. So much fun. Loved every minute of it.

My wife and I had an excellent Valentine Day dinner at Axel’s. She had salmon while I the filet. The food was prepared as ordered and served hot. Jennifer and Scott were our servers. They were polite, friendly and stopped by periodically throughout the evening. We will definitely return again.

Beautiful space. Delicious food and drinks. Dont be fooled by bad cutlery! Despite struggling to cut my steak, it was a tender, melt in your mouth filet. Perfectly cooked. Waiter (Cole?) was very prompt and friendly. I appreciated him being present when needed but not overly hovering so we could talk on our rare date night out of the house. Appetizers and entree portions were appropriate for the price. Food and drinks came to the table quickly despite it being Valentine’s Day - I would usually expect slower times due to busier day. Reservations worked perfectly, walked in the door and brought immediately to our table. Had asked for a booth in our reservation if possible and we got seated in a booth. Hostesses were all very nice. I couldn’t have asked for a smoother, more pleasant experience. As a working mom who rarely gets to get out of the house for fun, or out on a date night - I couldn’t have been happier.

This place has so much more to offer than your usual bar and grill. There’s so much I want to try on their menu. Service was on point as well. We will definitely be back

That was one of the best Valentines menus I've seen in a while. I chose the surf n turn over the seafood fra diavolo but if I ever see that diavolo on the menu again, I'll order it :) John, our server, was great. He was attentive and came just frequently enough to make sure we had everything we wanted.
