Best Lunch Restaurants in Waverly

Made last minute reservations and they were able to get us in. We were seated right away in a busy area but we still were able to have normal conversation and enjoy the time together. We had Mussels in Red Sauce that were nice and garlicky. Mussels cooked perfectly. Side Ceasar salad which was just enough and didn’t fill me up. Then the main dishes of Seafood over Squid Ink pasta for my wife and Short rib Ravioli for me. Both dishes were wonderful. On to the Canoli and Cappucinio for dessert. Spot on again! Our server was attentive, very pleasant but not hovering. We asked for our food to served slowly so we could enjoy conversation. Boom. Done. We have been to Zinicola multiple times now and it never dissapoints.

We visited on a Tuesday, Despite the moderately small number of patrons the service seemed a little slow. The wait staff was pleasant enough but not especially efficient. Making multiple trips to refill water or take one drink order at a time. We had to suggest we were ready to order. Drinks took a while to be delivered though I could see them sitting on the bar. Once we placed our food order it was prepared quickly and the taste was amazing. The Pecan glazed salmon with broccolini was some of the best.

The truffle bread, calamari and pizza were absolutely delicious!

Overall great experience ! I forgot to get our waitresses name but 10/10 will definitely recommend to my friends and will definitely be back .

We’ve eaten here several times and enjoyed it. Great food and service.
