Jeff Ruby's was the perfect choice for my special birthday dinner! The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who went above and beyond to ensure our experience was memorable. The ambiance was elegant, setting the stage for a delightful evening. The food was nothing short of spectacular. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, showcasing the chef's attention to detail. From the appetizers to the main courses, everything was cooked to perfection and left us wanting more. To top off the night, we indulged in the Jordan Shoe Chocolate cake, which was a showstopper! Not only was it visually impressive, but its rich chocolate flavor made it the perfect sweet ending to our celebration. We got a last minute reservation for Valentine’s Day and didn’t know much about this place prior to our arrival! I have celiac and they had a great gluten free menu with lots of choices, also lots of house made pastas for the gluten eaters. The mussels app was to die for as was the swordfish! Great experience!! Definitely recommend

This was my first time at The Last Refuge, and I had a great experience. Staff were amazing and attentive even though it was a busy night. It would be nice to see a couple more items on the menu, maybe more pasta items, as the one looked good. The appetizer, salad, and pizza was really good. I would love to come back when the weather is warmer as it looked like there was a nice patio. Overall, it was a very nice night and will come back.

I came in and celebrated Galentine’s with two of my closest friends. The food was phenomenal, and the drinks were great! Now, our server AJ Calvin seemed disoriented and behind when he came and greeted our table. When he first introduced himself, he stated he was the host and would be bringing us water, which left us slightly confused about whether he was specifically our server or just a host. It also took a while to take our drink and appetizer orders. Once asked if he was our server, he swiftly corrected us and said he prefers to be called a host rather than a server. From there, the experience started to decline when he told jokes that honestly weren’t funny or humorous; his jokes bordered on unprofessional. Maybe he was having an off day, but his inability to read the table throughout the entire service left a lasting negative impression.

We timed it right. We had a clear night, we were seated in the rotating restaurant area, and caught a beautiful sunset. Service was outstanding, great suggestions and very attentive. Food was unique and delicious. The "smoke box" old fashioned was a wonderful table presentation.
