Best Brunch Restaurants in Hawaii Kai

We took my mother-in-law to Hula Grill to celebrate her birthday. There were six of us, and we ordered a variety of dishes to share: Caesar salad with grilled chicken, seafood chowder, guava BBQ chicken, Korean chicken wings, mushroom cashew ravioli, Localicious salad, and focaccia bread. The highlight of the meal was definitely the focaccia bread, paired with their famous chili pepper water mixed with olive oil—absolutely delicious! While the guava BBQ chicken was a bit dry and the mushroom cashew ravioli overly salty, the bread and our amazing waiter, Paco, truly made the evening special.

The pork wasn't as good as it may have appeared, the lobster, prime rib, and snow crab exceeded my expectations. The bread pudding with it's sauce wasn't overly sweet which without loosing it's wonderful flavor. The genuine Kona coffee was a rare gratifying experience with it's rich, robust, taste and morning appealing aroma.

I keep coming back to Ruscello because of its unmatched consistency in taste and quality. Every visit feels like a guarantee of excellence. Their dishes are always flavorful and fresh. It’s rare to find a place where the food is just as good every single time, but this restaurant delivers on that. We ordered the soup of the day which was chicken noodle soup, shrimp arugula salad and the chicken gnocchi. We barely had room for dessert but also had the crème brûlée and coffee ice cream! So yum! The service is also consistently top-notch. Justin who was our server was very friendly, attentive, and delivered a seamless dining experience. Whether it’s a casual dinner or a special occasion, I know I can rely on this place to exceed expectations. Highly recommended!

Beautiful restaurant by the beach. Excellent service and ambiance. I ordered the signature dish: Prawn Tagliatelle and was disappointed to find only two pieces of shrimp, other than that the food and flavors were amazing.

Excellent food, excellent service, fantastic view. Orchids is a must next time you are visiting Oahu. Several in our party have dubbed it the “best meal of their lives”.
