Despite a queue at the entrance, the attentive staff promptly acknowledged our arrival and ensured we were seated within five minutes. As soon as we settled in, we were offered a choice between still or sparkling water, setting the tone for the level of attentiveness throughout the evening. Anna took the time to walk us through the menu, providing clear explanations that helped us navigate the options with ease. Nikos, who took our order, was an absolute standout. His attentiveness and thoughtful recommendations made our dining experience even more enjoyable. He ensured that each course, from starters to dessert, was delivered seamlessly, checking in regularly to make sure we were well taken care of and fully satisfied. The service at Bacchanalia truly elevated our meal, making for a memorable and enjoyable evening. The combination of warm hospitality, knowledgeable staff, and impeccable service makes it a dining experience worth returning to.More infoBacchanaliaPrice: Very Expensive• Greek• Mayfair•4.4
- AAnthonySurrey •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoThe experience mirrored what had been advertised. The balance was excellent and the taste delicious. Our comments at table were welcomed and passed on. In an exceptional menu the only downer was the tiramisu which was more of a cake, rather dry and not really a complement to what had gone before .More infoNo.15 Restaurant & BarPrice: Expensive• British• Chobham•4.8
- AAnnDallas - Fort Worth •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoClos Maggiore is a brilliant, atmospheric venue. The staff are warm, friendly and professional and the food is excellent. We were made to feel very welcome and despite the two-hour dining window allocated, there was no pressure on us to leave. This was our third visit and it was amazing every time.More infoClos MaggiorePrice: Expensive• French• Covent Garden•4.6
- TToniaBerkshire •1 review4.0Dined on Feb 8, 2025We had a lovely stay at the Berystede hotel, we had to upgrade our room as the original twin was small dark and damp! But the deluxe double was lovely and very comfortable! The spa was very nice and our treatments were excellent, although the outside area near the hydro pool could use some attention! The bar was nice but a bit of music would have made a better atmosphere! Unfortunately the food wasn’t great! We had pate to start and there was a layer of fat sitting on top which was horrid, the pate itself was freezing cold and very rich with overpowering orange taste, yuck! I had lasagna for mains and it was dry and burnt on top. Overall our stay was nice and I would go back but the food was Very disappointing!More infoAcanthus Restaurant at Macdonald Berystede Hotel & SpaPrice: Expensive• British• Ascot•3.6
