- DDanielNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoFood is 5 star. Service is 5 stars. Everything is appropriate for a 5 star rating … except… one thing…. When I bring a special bottle of wine in for my birthday… don’t charge me $45 for a corking fee! $10 is standard. $25 is upper tier… $45 is stupid. Seriously that’s my only complaint. I go to Christos because it is superb quality. I am fine with paying more for high quality. But $45 for a corking fee… not reasonable.More infoChristos Steak HousePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Astoria•4.7

We had the butternut squash soup, zucchini chips, herb bread, mushroom cavatelli, roasted chicken and butterscotch apple cake. Honestly so delicious. Highly recommend.More infoHudson Garden Grill at the New York Botanical GardenPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Bronx Park•4.4

- WWilliamNew York City •1 review5.0Dined on Nov 1, 2024Çka Ka Qëllu was fantastic. I can see why it is on the NY Times Top 100 list. It would be perfect if they served some adult beverages, but they don't even allow BYO - I think it is because it is Halal and they want to be all the way Halal. Oh well, when in Albania... The waiter gave us much-needed help in making our choices since Albanian food was new to most of us. The bread they served were fantastic puffy little loaves that we used to eat the savory dips (we tried the sausage dip and the ajavar - red pepper dip). I could have made a meal out of the dips alone. The Mediterranean salad we crunchy and satisfying, but the meat dishes were the best part of all. There were four of us and we ordered four meat dishes: Qofta, Qepaba, Sarma, and Fasul. Qofta were seared patties of veal, onions, crushed red pepper & herbs that were delicious. Qebapa are little sausages made of ground veal with a yogurt sauce. I could have eaten four hundred of these things, but I needed to save room to try the other things. Sarma is stuffed cabbage filled with ground veal, rice, vegetables, and spices. This was excellent. Fasul is simmering white beans, onions, slowly cooked in meat. I loved this - it was like Albanian cassoulet or feijoada. I will definitely go back. I'm making a list people I need to take to dinner so I can have a reason go back often.More infoÇka Ka QëlluPrice: Moderate• Mediterranean• Belmont•4.7
