- JJoNew York City •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe had great experience at Coast. The service was impeccable, particular mention to Grainne, who looked after us so well. Nothing was a problem for her or the team. We needed to change tables (which was probably a bit of a pain for them) but they accommodated us perfectly. We had the bottomless lunch and the food was amazing as was the drink selection. Would wholly recommend this venue.More infoCoast Beach Bar & KitchenPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Surfers Paradise•4.5

- AAnnBrisbane •3 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 24, 2024We had Sunday high tea. Of our 5, we had a lactose sensitive person and 2x gluten free. With prior warning, the chef was able to accommodate our GF needs and minimise dairy. The teas are tasty, and the mix of flavours in the range of high tea offerings was excellent. Happy customers - 3 boomers 2 Gen X. Thanks.More infoPalette RestaurantPrice: Very Expensive• Modern Australian• Surfers Paradise•4.6
- KKalebGold Coast •1 review5.0Dined on Nov 22, 2024If you’re looking for a comforting yet elevated dining experience, The Hideaway Kitchen and Bar is worth a visit, especially for their fried rice and dumplings. The fried rice is a standout—perfectly cooked with a balance of smoky, savory flavors that hit just the right note. Each grain of rice is infused with rich seasoning, complemented by tender vegetables and a subtle hint of umami. The dish isn’t overly greasy, which often happens with fried rice, but instead feels light yet satisfying. The addition of protein—whether it’s shrimp, chicken, or pork—only elevates the flavor profile without overpowering the dish. It’s clear that attention to detail goes into every spoonful. The dumplings are equally impressive. With a delicate, yet sturdy, wrapper, they strike the perfect balance between chewy and tender. The filling inside is a delicious mix of finely seasoned meat (or vegetables, depending on your choice), and each bite bursts with flavor. The dipping sauce, a tangy blend with just the right amount of heat, brings the entire dish together. Whether steamed or fried, these dumplings are a must-try and pair wonderfully with the fried rice. Overall, The Hideaway Kitchen and Bar has mastered the art of creating simple yet flavorful dishes that keep you coming back for more. The fried rice and dumplings are a perfect example of how comfort food can be both familiar and exciting with a little creativity and care.More infoHideaway Kitchen & Bar BroadbeachPrice: Moderate• Asian• Broadbeach•4.5
