Best Healthy Restaurants in El Macero

My wife and I had a wonderful belated Valentine’s Day dinner at Allora. The Polpo and Mussel starters were magnificent. Her entree of Waygu steak was very tender and flavorful. My scallops were excellent. Our waitress remembered us from previous visits and was friendly and knowledgeable of all the options on the menu. When the bar did not have the whiskey I requested they suggested a replacement that was a perfect substitute. The service , atmosphere and food were impeccable. A memorable experience.

Still my favorite eats in Sac. Valentine’s meal was amazing. My wife and I will always return and bring friends and visitors because we trust Canon. My only request is please get some non alcohol beer. Literally the biggest trend in food and beverage right now, everyone has great ones… and $8 bitter sodas are just not where it’s at. Normalize more non alcohol options!

The food was absolutely amazing! The fillet mignon was cooked to perfection (medium rare) and melted in my mouth. The lobster was also perfectly cooked and when dipped in the Old Bay butter…excellent! We brought our own bottle of wine and enjoyed a table-side view of the Sacramento River during sunset. Our waiter was wonderful in provided recommendations for starters (crab bisque), which we enjoyed. Our waiter Miguel was a wonderful mix of checking on us, but also allowing us to enjoy our food and conversation.

Dinner before a Mondavi Center event. Staff are super nice-professional-accommodating. The food is superb. We had crab cakes-moist, deliciously flavorful; Asian Pear salad; lamb chops (juicy, tender, seasoned to perfection, duck, salmon and scallops. We were a party of 4. We were treated extremely well!

I am running out of superlatives when describing the Omakase experience at Hikari. As far as I am concerned it is the only high-end dining place in Davis worthy of the name. On my last visit I was accompanied by a couple of friends who enjoyed it to the utmost. Although they are Japanese food lovers this was a new and marvelous experience for them. If you want to treat somebody to a great dining experience I suggest you take them to Hikari.
