- GGordonChicago / Illinois •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoI reserved a special from Mercadito called "Amor y Sabor" and boy it did not disappoint. The ambiance was very chill and the music was not too loud. Our waitress was very nice and attentive with us. The food was fantastic it consisted of a 4 course meal. It began with a shot of tiger de leche (Peruvian cuisine). Then we had a choice of camarones ceviche which was super tasty and flavorful. After that, we had queso Birria tacos with the dip and that was also delicious. Next but not least, we had some nice and tender strip steak which was perfectly cooked and was easy to chew. Our night was capped off with some churro desert and a glass of champagne. Overall an awesome and exciting experience and would highly recommend it!More infoMercadito - River NorthPrice: Expensive• Mexican• River North (Chicago)•4.6
- JjackieHawaii •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoMy husband and I had a delightful pre concert dinner (5:30) at a perfect pace. The Scotch egg was far better than any I have had in the UK. Perhaps there was too much béarnais on the lobster, but it was good béarnais and perfectly cooked lobster. Hubby’s coq au vin was excellent- rich and succulent. Service was quick and efficient. It’s a huge place and I wasn’t anticipating much, but the Gage far exceeded my expectations.More infoThe GagePrice: Moderate• American• Downtown / Loop•4.7
- GGaylePhoenix / Arizona •13 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoService was outstanding, especially considering our reservation was at 9pm and the staff was working the dinner service for many hours. Unbelievably service oriented. Food was exceptional, as always. The place was packed, and as a result the decibel level was high. It was expensive, but we really enjoyed being taken care of on the night before Valentine’s Day.More infoRL RestaurantPrice: Expensive• American• Gold Coast / Streeterville•4.8
- RRyanSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoI took my mom for a Valentine's Day lunch. We went around 3 PM, and even though my reservation was at 3:30 PM the staff were nice enough to let me in. Granted it was a low volume of people eating at the time. We were sat near the windows which added to the ambience of our visit. The music made it feel like we were in an old fancy jazz club. I had the French onion soup and the chicken sandwich while my mom had the Walnut turkey club sandwich. Both sandwiches came with well seasoned fries. The food was delicious and our waitress, Annette, was very attentive and sweet. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely go again. I would highly recommend the Walnut Room.More infoThe Walnut Room - ChicagoPrice: Expensive• American• Downtown / Loop•4.6
