Best Date Night Restaurants in High Wycombe

In this day and age where so much service is now automated or the bare minimum is offered, it is so lovely to enjoy a meal at an establishment that prides itself on the human personal approach. When we entered Bombay Story in Maidenhead, my husband and I were made to feel welcome and special. This is a dying breed of service, and more restaurants need to take the example of Bombay Story. Thank you to all the staff on Friday, 29th November 2024, who took good care of me and my husband for our anniversary meal. The staff seemed proud of the job they did, and so they should have been; it was exceptional. We raved about our meal and evening as soon as we got home. The food was excellent, and I ordered southern Indian dishes that reminded us of our honeymoon in Kerela. Thank you

We were celebrating a special occasion and I’d asked for a nice table and was lucky enough to get one. We were then served a glass of Prosecco to mark it. That was a nice touch. Food and service brilliant and not overly priced. Great restaurant.

Another enjoyable lunch with great attention to detail. Super confit ducks leg in a smooth pumpkin sauce, and toothsome desserts [ultrasmooth chocolate mousse and sticky toffee pudding]. Washed down with beautifully kept Rebellion's Roasted Nuts. Well worth the journey.

Staff had been very helpful in increasing the numbers in my booking. Warm welcome on arrival m, the requested sparkling wine was produced immediately. Great service and a lovely evening all round, the birthday choux bun was a thoughtful extra.
