- SSeanvipTokyo Metropolitan Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoWhat a remarkable experience! We have lived in Japan for the past six months, and this was absolutely our best eating experience since we moved here. The restaurant is very beautiful - private and intimate with just ten seats at the sushi bar. The hostess and her husband, the chef, are just some of the most friendly people I've ever met, and the young lady who took care of the diners and ensured that we always had fresh green tea and a full water glass was attentive and friendly. We had so many questions about the food, about the restaurant and its decorations, and about Japan in general, and the hostess was engaging and informative, teaching us things about sushi, about the local area, and about Japanese culture in general. There were three parties at the restaurant when we went, and we never felt ignored or disregarded. The meal was paced perfectly - the minute you had an inkling of maybe wanting another new experience of sushi, there was the chef, making something else. The ingredients were the best I've tasted, amazingly fresh and prepared perfectly. Though not cheap, the experience was worth every bit of the cost and we plan on going again as often as we are able to get to Tokyo and Roppongi.More infoFukuzushiPrice: Expensive• Sushi• Roppongi•5

- OTOpenTable DinerAtlanta Metro •3 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 3, 2024One of the best meals in my life, and I have a lot of experience. The chef was funny, kind, and an artist. The food was really special, all the ingredients were sourced from wherever the food originates from and ordered freshly days before. We had raw whale as sashimi, and fresh porcini muchrooms cooked in an incredible soup, and special rice that he even used the water from the area that the rice came from to cook it. Everything was special and incredible but also his design was amazing. One of the dishes came in a picnic basket with leaves and flowers from the season decorating it. And another had the flowers in season added into the cup that held the dish. The place is also about 6 seats so very importantMore infoShinsen Kappo SanoyaPrice: Very Expensive• Japanese• Shibuya•5
- PPatrickvipWashington, D.C. Area •14 reviews4.0Dined on Apr 30, 2021If you want Japanese authentic Oden style, this place might be not for you. However, if you want fusion Oden style, I highly recommend this place. Restaurant is located in house so it like french restaurant style that used to convert old house to be restaurant. Environment is made you feel like you dining in french restaurant. Oden soup is quite heavy tease for me. Also, it has only set menu and you can’t order more but during my visit, Tokyo was under state of emergency so every restaurant has to close early. I am don’t know that for normal time they have a la carte to order or not.More infoOden VinumPrice: Very Expensive• Japanese• Nishi Azabu•4.5
