- SsergeivipToronto / Ontario •33 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThis was a surprise. It is a well established place, but nailing that tomahawk to perfection was a hugely welcoming surprise. Best tomahawk ever, and not only in Calgary. I guess four day marinading and other magic must take place, still we treasured every bite. Broccolini and mushrooms were great as the sides; stake tartar was perfectly balanced; the salmon crudo had a beautifully balanced marinade but was a touch off. The tying part for it was Tasha, she was fantastic, full of energy, leaving us with the image of our new best place to go to! Thank you all.More infoMAJOR TOMPrice: Expensive• Continental• Downtown•4.7

- SSanciaCalgary / Southern Alberta •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe knew we wanted to try Dopo in their new space, but the only reservation we could get was at 9:30 at the bar. This turned out to be the most wonderful thing! Anthony took incredible care of us, welcoming us with a contagious energy right from the start. He made a wine recommendation that we loved, followed by an overview of the menu and suggestions to make sure we were ordering enough (but not too much). It was perfectly coursed - pickled green tomatoes and whipped ricotta of our dreams with fresh bread (we could have gone home satisfied right then and there), a fresh Panzanella and hearty Polpette were next, and then we stopped at a pasta course of a ravioli the size of my face, and another dish with a combination of bone marrow, ox tail, and beef tongue that melt-in-your-mouth tender. Our bellies were full but we knew the night wouldn't be complete without their famous tiramisu. It was a much-anticipated evening out without our kids, and it was beyond our expectations. We can't wait to be back!More infoDOPOPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Calgary•4.9
- EEllenCalgary / Southern Alberta •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe went during their lunch hour when it was much less busy and everything from the food, ambiance, and service was great. It was a limited menu but everything was delicious and very homey. As a heads up, the restaurant is on the second floor with a narrow stairwell access, it’s not the most accessibility friendly for people with disabilities so something to keep in mind.More infoSOT Korean RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Korean• Inglewood•4.5
