The Woollen Mills has been one of the most iconic buildings and businesses in Dublin for over one hundred years, and to have taken over this site is a serious privilege. Much like our award-winning sister restaurant next door, The Winding Stair, we feel like we are custodians of something very special... a piece of history (James Joyce worked here, how unbelievable is that?!) and we must do it proud! Spanning over four floors and with a glorious roof terrace overlooking the River Liffey. The Woollen Mills is quintessentially Irish, local and of its locale. We want it to be an 'Eating House', a house of food, a place to grab a coffee and bun, a plate of Irish fish and chips, a place to score a casual bite befre the nearby theatres and cinemas or sit with seven courses of Irish antipasti, burrata, crab, lamb or cauliflower steak, overlooking the Ha'penny Bridge with a fine bottle of red or a craft beer. Laid back & quaint restaurant, I'd say the vibe is somewhere between a cosy pub & a fancy restaurant which is exactly what I was looking for during my weekend away in Dublin. No draught beer unfortunately but the cocktails were amazing & made to a high standard (as was the food of course)! The service was 10/10 too!

Really nice place, good value, not a lot of choice on the food menu but good for a quick bite to eat, and there's a cozy area for group of 8-9 also. The staff were a little slow to come and give us menus once we were seated took some time to get our table fully set also, even though I had a table for four booked.
