- JJoyvipWinnipeg / Manitoba •25 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoWe went to The Gates on Roblin for our anniversary. Our server was Ethan. He made good suggestions regarding food, wine and beer. He knew what was on the menu without having to consult a list. It was quite busy but he managed to serve every table. We ordered the yam salad, the 12oz prime rib, and sautéed mushrooms. All of it delicious. The prime rib was cooked to our liking. We were pleasantly surprised by the carrot cake with the sparkler in it. All in all, a lovely evening out.More infoThe Gates on RoblinPrice: Expensive• Global, International• Headingley•4.7

The location is great, the interior is so unique and the menu was varied. There was a person with food allergies in our group and they have a great menu for celiac, plant-based and vegetarians. Great place!More infoJames Avenue PumphousePrice: Moderate• International• Winnipeg•4.6

I had eaten Georgian while living in nearby Sochi and knew how good and unique it could be. All my group would like to return. Everything was outstanding, but pick your spots on internet in advance. Our waitress was outstanding, but was serving an entire room by herself. Shashlik was very good, as was everything else. Don’t bother with Caucasus wines; too sweet. Beer served was magnificent; Belgians can’t be beat. On the whole, I would love to eat there again, but live 1,600 miles away. Next time I’m in the frigid north, you can bet that I will be there with compadres.More infoSaperaviPrice: Moderate• Georgian• Little Italy/Corydon Village•4.6
