Best Oyster Bars in Scottsboro

With all of the new restaurants opening in Nashville, we hadn't been to Henrietta Red in a couple of years. I was reminded last night on what delicious and uniquely inventive dishes they offer. The beet salad had layered flavors, as did the amazing chicken liver pate, served with wood-fired bread. The gem salad was fresh, crisp and had a thick, flavorful caesar dressing with crunchy bits of toast--amazing. The fried eggplant had a nice light and spicy crust, and the juicy eggplant interior burst in your mouth on the first bite--a sensation worth trying. The spaghetti with grilled veggies and ancho-chili oil--how brilliant and tasty. We plan to go back more often--still one of the top restaurants in Nashville!! Easy to park too! Friendly and courteous staff.

Our waitress was wonderful and helpful with all of our questions. The oysters were great, as well as the amazing lobster tacos. We also had the tuna and crab fried rice and for dessert the bananas foster was delicious! Definitely a must try for upscale dining!

Our waiter was Tony and he provided excellent service. He helped us make menu selections . The food and drinks were delicious.
