- MMickieHouston •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoRed Snapper was amazing along with the brussel sprouts, bread pudding, chargrilled oysters, and Thai shrimp. Drinks were strong but still tasted great. I was with a large group so the service took a little long but all the staff was attentive. Would definitely go again.More infoDavis StreetPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• W. - DDavidHouston •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoWe went here for V-Day and it was really busy, we had to wait for about 20 minutes to be seated even though we were running 10 minutes late... with that being said our overall experience was great! The Filet Mignon was cooked perfectly! My wife liked the Oysters and the Snapper. This place is great for an event or special occasion but is definitely a femine atmosphere.More infoAnnabelle BrasseriePrice: Expensive• French• Montrose•4.5
- AAshleyHouston •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoGuard and Grace is a beautiful place to spend on any special occasion. My husband and I went for Valentine’s Day and really enjoyed ourselves. Our server, Trey, had excellent table side manner and was very knowledgeable of the menu. We really appreciated him as our server and will request him again when we come back with friends and family. The only negative thing I have to say is we don’t feel that the steaks were worth the value for the price. I got the NY strip and it was very tough. Which, strip usually is always tough but I was expecting a more tender piece of meat with a little more flavor. My husband got the Ribeye and he also felt like the steak could have been prepared better. He asked for rare and it was a cool red center like Trey told us it would be, but he felt like it was a bit over cooked. He liked the flavor though. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves. I think it’s worth a try.More infoGuard and Grace - HoustonPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown•4.7
- TtimHouston •4 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe had four different dishes (two steaks and two types of fish. ALL were delicious. I really don’t think you could find anything that wasn’t outstanding. The one thing I would change is the noise level. They might refer to it as energetic, I thought it was a little too loud. Made it necessary to speak louder and it seemed like a competition. No a huge problem but not a quiet romantic dinner. A matter of taste. Great experience.More infoSteak 48 - HoustonPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• River Oaks•4.9
- CCharlotteHouston •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe were celebrating three best friends birthdays!! Our waiter immediately brought each of us a complementary glass of champagne. That was a nice touch to start our evening! We were not rushed, which I appreciated. The only negative was!You have to order everything at once but our waiter Charles was wonderful and worked with us. It’s definitely a fun people watching place. The food and cocktails were fabulous. I had an old fashion cocktail. It was very good. We had lobster escargot! Yum!! Spicy cauliflower was a hit! Steak tar tar and an artichoke appetizer. Also we had a spicy Caesar salad, which I would have again if you go don’t miss out on the lobster escargot or the cauliflower. I would go again.More infoDrake's Hollywood - HoustonPrice: Very Expensive• American• Montrose•4.5
