Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Aeropuerto / Iztapalapa / Neza

I think this is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to in my whole life. It lives up to and excels every archetype there is about what a great oyster / seafood restaurant should be. I loved the oysters, the tuna was completely delicious, and frankly absolutely everything was marvelous. Reasonably priced too. the staff was so friendly and helpful (unlike too many of the “tude’y” Los Angeles servers where we are living now!) They also make a very good Bloody Mary. 😀

Our best meal so far in CDMX. The portions were generous: three of us shared two appetizers, two mains, and two desserts and we still took home “to-go.” The food was innovative and delicious! Service was highly professional and the space upstairs was lovely. A real gem.

We spent the day exploring the historic center of the city, soaking in its rich culture and vibrant energy, and Balcón del Zócalo was the perfect way to cap off our adventure. The combination of delicious food, exceptional service, and that incredible view made it an experience we’ll cherish. We can’t wait to return and relive this amazing experience. Balcón del Zócalo is a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy the heart of Mexico City in style. Highly recommended!

Absolutely fantastic lunch with great service and white selection of beverages from around the world. Highly recommend.

The prices are reasonable compared to similar restaurants nearby and the quality is outstanding. The pulpo tostada was delicious and the gordita with chicharron-style pulpo was an innovative take that worked very well. It was my first time trying aguachile and the chile de arbol red aguachile didn’t disappoint!
