Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Stateline

Our server was excellent, and food, as well! We shared the Ribeye, salad, clam chowder and table-side Bananas Foster…all wonderful!

Enjoyed our experience so much while celebrating my husband’s birthday. We had a perfect view of Lake Tahoe and the mountains from our table. We really enjoyed the King Crab legs and the Snoopy salad! The crab was cooked perfectly and had a delicious lemon butter, fingerling potatoes and Brussel sprouts on the side. The salad had crab, shrimp and avocado in it and a lovely, light vinaigrette dressing. Our server, Myla, was WONDERFUL throughout our meal and brought out a nice chocolate soufflé with raspberry sauce to celebrate!

Definitely worth splurging on a meal here. Not going to be cheap but it should be a very memorable experience. Extreme attention to details throughout the restaurant. Please be sure to get up from your table and walk through the entire space. Great seating area in the back with a faux fireplace (although, I'm guessing you just can't sit there as seating space is highly regulated). It was just the two of us and they gave us a cool little table facing the bar. What was cool was not only the low slung seats but the foot stool for two that allowed you to lay back in your seat and put your feet up. Worked out great for enjoying a pre-meal cocktail but we had to sit up to eat. We tried their special bread and butters and it was good. Others have said it was mouthwatering, it wasn't for us but it was good. My wife ordered the Wagyu Ragu. Very nice sized portion, generous amount of beef and very good flavor. She wasn't able to finish it but enjoyed it. I ordered the Iberian Pork Tenderloin. It looks like there are a lot of great entrees on the menu but, when I return, I won't need to read about them. I'm re-ordering the pork. Really, one of the best entrees I have in quite some time. Very impressed with the presentation, flavor of the pork, the sauce, the creative potato slices...yum! The only thing on the place I was just okay with was the plumbs. I ate every bit of food off my plate. If I had a dog, he would have been disappointed with my empty plate. Not sure where was much for him to lick off. So...worth a try? Absolutely! Just be prepared for the check! ;) Enjoy!

Edgewood is a stunning experience even with the snowy weather. My friends and I enjoyed a 30oz tomahawk steak, lobster Mac and cheese, and veggies. The cocktails are also decadent and are worth checking out as well. The dessert options were also delicious, and we will definitely be returning in the future. 

This is an excellent restaurant with great service, food, and ambience.
