Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Trenton

While the lunch menu was not abundant in entree choices the foods our party of 5 had ordered all looked and tasted great. Servers were very accommodating regarding special substitutions. Service was fine and the wait staff was knowledgeable. One criticism is the fairly long wait to receive our meals

Their Happy Hour Bar menu is great! We are there almost every Wednesday. Also I have yet to find a Vodka sauce that is better than the one I can get at Cafe Antonio. I always ask for the Vodka Sauce in place of the Marinara on whatever I order.

Our server and the manager were very good. The food was delicious - the shrimp were grilled to perfection. The creme brulee cheesecake was wonderful. The portions are very large. The noise level was high for most of our visit. I had requested a quiet corner when I made the reservation. The most annoying thing was the family in the booth behind me. The boy could not be still for a moment, constantly jumping on the bench, shaking the bench. The parents were obnoxious. There was another family with well-behaved children. The restaurant should have a family section.

The food was amazing, for our first course we had gotten the mussels and stuffed mushrooms and they were amazing, and for our second course I got the ny steak and it was cooked to perfection and my girlfriend got the black dough shrimp ravioli and she said it was also amazing, for dessert we shared a tiramisu and I will say it is one of the best I’ve ever had!!!! I will definitely be coming back here more often!!

The scene is welcoming and pleasant. The food and wine choices are terrific and the wait staff and bar tender were pleasant and very accommodating. Consistently it is a very nice experience to eat at Marsilio's Kitchen.
