Best Steak Restaurants in Monmouth Beach

I very seldom write reviews, but had to make sure I recognized Bahrs Landing. I have visited often - when "we drove down the shore", now I live here. The occasion for our visit last evening was my son's birthday and we had a wonder table by the water which helped with the little ones. The staff from the host to the server were amazing. The tone they set is so welcoming and friendly that it just compliments the great food! Bahrs is a jersey landmark and has been part of our state's dining expience since 1917 You don't stay in the restaurant business for that long without being exceptional. Very well received and service, the food could not be better, a spectacle I will return.

For us, this was a special occasion meal and the food and the service were top shelf. We were a little taken back by the sticker shock, but the drinks, steak, salad, lobster, and appetizers were so good, I can’t complain. However, we were very surprised by the dress of the clientele. People were wearing sweats and sneakers in what I consider to be a very expensive and high end restaurant. Our waiter Pierre was an absolute pro. This is not a place for me to frequent often but maybe once or twice a year for a special occasion.

Went there on Veterans Day for free entree. Was pleasantly surprised that ALL entrees were free for vets and not a limited menu. Got a filet mignon cooked to perfection. Normally $48…excellent service… Thanks Tim Mcloones. 👍
