The food and service are amazing! The best part of our visits to Roku at Fashion Island is the welcome we receive from Juney the Manager. He makes one feel that he’s welcoming guests to his home with a warm greeting and a friendly chat. He’s always appreciative that we have come to Roku and makes one feel as if we’re part of his family. An amazing guy! His staff speak so highly of him and it’s clear that he’s created a great workplace environment to work. I recommend that when you’re in Newport Beach you visit Roku and see and taste for yourself!

We recently had the pleasure of dining at King’s Fish House in Long Beach, and it was an experience worth sharing! From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were greeted with warmth and enthusiasm that set the tone for the evening. Our waiter, Francisco, truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable meal. His attention to detail and genuine care for our dining experience was evident throughout the night. He not only kept our glasses full but also made sure our table was clear of any clutter. It was clear that he and his co-workers were well-trained and worked seamlessly as a team, making sure we had everything we needed without us even having to ask. One of the highlights of our visit was the tranquility of dining on a Monday night. The restaurant was pleasantly less crowded but had an abundance of attentive staff. This perfect combination allowed us to enjoy a leisurely meal, where we didn’t feel rushed and could savor the delightful seafood offerings. The menu at King’s Fish House is a seafood lover’s dream, with fresh catches and expertly prepared mouthwatering dishes. Every bite was a testament to the quality and freshness of the ingredients used. With each savory dish, it was apparent why this place had such a loyal following. I wholeheartedly recommend making a Monday night reservation at King’s Fish House. You’ll benefit from the superb service and delight in a more relaxed atmosphere that allows for great conversation and enjoyment. With a stellar team like Francisco and the rest of the waitstaff, it’s clear that this location prioritizes a top-notch dining experience. In short, King’s Fish House in Long Beach exceeded all expectations. I will start by saying I was worried the food would not live up to my expectations, however that was not a problem at all. Some of the freshest and best executed dishes I have had. The prices add up quick, but once we were done with the meal it was worth every penny. Favorite dishes included: yellowtail jalapeño, chilean sea bass, ribeye with truffle butter and the mango kakigori shaved iced is a must. The tuna tacos were small but good as well. Server was very attentive without being pushy which was appreciated since we were there closing on a Sunday night. Will definitely visit again when in the Newport area.

All the appetizers, rolls and nigiri were delicious! Our server was attentive and the tea plus heater added to ambience on a cold night while we enjoyed the views on the outside patio. The supermoon shining above was the cherry on top for us. Had missed it here.

The vent at the tepan table we were on wasn’t working so all the smoke was in our face. Other than that the cook was awesome and food was good.
