If you’re looking for a dining experience that transcends expectations, “Punta Médano” is an absolute must. From the moment you walk in, the intimate and elegant ambiance draws you into a world of culinary magic. The staff provide impeccable service that makes you feel not just welcomed but truly cherished. But let’s talk about the mastermind behind it all—Chef Luis. He has completely redefined my appreciation for ceviche and Baja cuisine. His passion for his craft is evident in every detail, every flavor, every bite. Each dish feels like a love letter to the region, a celebration of its rich culinary traditions infused with his own innovative flair. Take the oysters, for example. These weren’t just oysters—they were a revelation. Most oysters come simply served on the shell, leaving you to dress them as you like. Not here. Chef Luis elevates them to an art form, serving them perfectly dressed with his own signature ponzu and garnishes. The balance of flavors is so exquisite it leaves your taste buds dancing and begging for more. And the octopus? Perfection. Tender, flawlessly seasoned, and bursting with layers of flavor that linger like a beautiful memory. Every dish, from the Chicolata clams to the shrimp tacos, tells a story of passion, creativity, and mastery. “Punta Médano” isn’t just a meal—it’s an unforgettable journey of taste and artistry. Chef Luis has created something truly special here, a dining experience that will linger in my heart (and my cravings) forever. This is a restaurant I’ll return to again and again no doubt.

This was our first time at Cayao. The restaurant was very beautiful. Our server Aime was very knowledgeable of the menu and very attentive to service. The food was another level… we had the edamame to start with(which let me tell you was incredible. Nothing like we had ever had before. Not your ordinary edamame for sure) the flavor was a 10+. Next we had the chef’s sashimi sample. 12 pieces of fish presented in a beautiful display .. it looked like a flower garden. The fish was so fresh and delicious. For our dinner we had the catch of the day. The miso glaze on the fish was to die for and the side we chose was a rice.. but of course not your ordinary fried rice.. it had such an intense flavor and it had a over easy egg on top to mix into it. It was our anniversary so they presented us with 2 glasses of champagne to celebrate. We thought that was so thoughtful. The staff was so nice. Met the director of the hotel restaurants and the head chef. Both came to our table to introduce themselves.. a very nice touch that you may not get at all the restaurants in Cabo. I would highly recommend this restaurant!! We loved it so much, that se will be going there again Sunday night.

Nobu has been one of our go to spots while in Cabo over the years. Location, food and service keep bringing us back. Last night didn't disappoint. Great selection of choices that allow you to cater your dinner to your preferences. If possible get there early enough to experience the sunset.

Second time visiting this restaurant in our trip to Cabo San Lucas. Tonight my husband had tortilla soup again and shrimp tacos. I had the sweet corn soup which was a little thinner than a chowder, but delish and a shrimp and flank steak taco and a pork taco. Everything was fabulous again! Highly recommend this restaurant if you’re visiting the area.
