Best American Restaurants in Amity

Everything we had was amazing- bread, soup, salad, entrees and dessert. Our waiter was very professional and attentive. We’ll certainly be back.

Twice a year some old friends from Chicago visit their son & his family in Portland, and we always meet halfway (I live in Newport) for lunch while they're in Oregon. Over the years we've gone to many of the fine vineyards & restaurants in the wine country but always gravitate back around to Dundee Bistro, not only for its fine cuisine but also for its stylish yet comfortable ambience, its seating options (we like to be outdoors in summer, by the fireplace in winter), and its attentive but never intrusive service.

On chilly, fall night, we enjoyed a warm, inviting dinner with superb service and delightful appetizers and entrees matched with a nice Oregon Chenin Blanc wine. Perfect.

Loved the complimentary hummus with chips! So delicious that I bought some to go! All our meals were wonderful...Seared Scallops, Shrimp & Bacon Risotto, "The Classic". Oh, and the Street Corn and Garlic Bread! Will come back if ever in Salem again. :-P Thank you!
