- SStellaGreater Boston •4 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoI was super excited to try this new restaurant at Mohegan Sun. It is immersed with innovative and chic design. We enjoyed the early 2000's music softly playing in the background which made the high end dining experience more fun and relaxed. We also got to see the mini Biggie Smalls statue in the lobby which is an icon of the Beauty and Essex restaurant group. I ordered the Rolls Royce smoked margaritas for two in a decanter for our first cocktail and loved the visual appeal of seeing them served with a touch of smoke. The little French dips were our favorite shared starter, I mean who doesn't love au jus? Really delicious. Then we had Beef Wellington entrees with a side of miso eggplant which was a great substitute for potatoes. We made sure to try the Fluffer Nutter dessert and it tasted amazing, even better than described. It was a pleasure dining at Beauty and Essex - Mohegan Sun. Thanks for bringing it to Connecticut.More infoBeauty & Essex - Mohegan SunPrice: Very Expensive• Speakeasy• Uncasville•4.6
- EEdison1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoWent here for Valentine’s Day and we had a great time. We got there about 45 min early because traffic was crazy so instead of going to a cocktail bar and risking being late for our reservation we just decided to have some drinks at the bar while waiting for our reservation. The Sangrias were delicious and the bartenders were really nice and accommodating. They ended up seating us early which was nice. The restaurant was as busy and had a great ambiance everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and we were too. We had the oysters (so good) it was my dates first time trying oysters and she loved them. We also tried a bunch of tapas plates and everything was delicious especially the Croquetas with the guava sauce. I wanted more. We also had the pork belly which was good. Our piece was really fatty with not too much meat but the flavor was great. Probably was our least favorite only because it was all fat but I’m not someone to complain as I work in the industry I ate it anyway. The shrimp was really good. Overall we had a great time all around. Will definitely be back to try more options. Thanks for a nice night guys. Great job.More infoBesos Tapas & Wine BarPrice: Moderate• Tapas / Small Plates• East Greenwich•4.2
